Your child’s health and safety is our top priority

Yal-Day-New’s goal is to provide a safe, loving, and nurturing environment for our students. Our philosophy at Yal-Day-New is to provide a warm, educational, and Jewish classroom setting that is child-orientated. The curriculum is created based on children's interests and age-appropriate with the understanding that each individual child's growth differs. Our classrooms are arranged with learning centers that offer numerous choices and selections for exploration and curiosity. We encourage young children to become independent, to respect themselves and others, and to develop a foundation for lifelong learning.

COVID 19 Precautions

It has been and continues to be our privilege to support our students and families during an ongoing pandemic. As health and safety guidance continues to evolve, we adhere to the recommended guidelines and protocols by the Department of Early Education and Care and Department of Public Health to support our school community. Our staff members and students are PCR tested weekly on-site for Covid-19 to continue our proactive and preventative measures. We are available to share our efforts and more about our Covid-19 approach and how we ensure a safe and healthy environment for our students, families, and staff.

Testimonials

Why Jewish Early Education is Important to my Family

“Sending my daughter to a Jewish Early Childhood Education program is important because it reinforces the values throughout the day that I am teaching her at home. As we go into each Jewish holiday she has already learned about it.”

A School Community We Love

“A common refrain amongst parents, teachers and students at Yal-Day-New is ‘We love Yal-Day-New’! My husband and I can say we truly mean it with all of our hearts every time we say it. Our daughter was barely three months old when she started in the Infant program, only to be back home two months later as Covid-19 lockdowns started. We were able to send her back at twelve months old with confidence as we saw Yal-Day-New take every possible precaution to keep students safe. Since then, she has absolutely blossomed. She’s learning so quickly and truly enjoying school every day. We recently bought a home in the area and are beyond happy that our daughter will go to Yal-Day-New all the way until Kindergarten. We love Yal-Day-New!”

An Extension of Family & Partnership Together

“We absolutely love Yal-Day-New! Our son has been there since he was three months old and has absolutely flourished. He loves the warm, caring teachers and creative activities, and is always so happy to go to school. When the school reopened after closing for the pandemic, our son grew by leaps and bounds that year! Yal-Day-New is an extension of our family and we partner together to educate and care for our son.”

Teachers are the Best at Yal-Day-New

My daughter misses all of you and her friends at Yal-Day-New. She is still talking about Ms. Marceline, Ms. Sara, and Ms. Michelle almost six months later! She loves the book you gave her and takes it with her to her new school every day. I think that gives her strength and comfort having a piece of Yal-Day-New with her at drop-off. Thanks a lot for the gift! She feels so loved. We want to share that Yal-Day-New is a great, beautiful, and safe place with love from all the teachers. We are very thankful to have had your school as our daughter’s first school experience. Leaving the Yal-Day-New community was completely heart-wrenching. If our daughter’s new school is half as wonderful as Yal-Day-New, we will consider ourselves very, very lucky. We’ll treasure the years we had with you all!
